St. Paul was established in 1966 and was originally staffed by the Sisters of St. Joseph. Today St Paul Catholic High School is a thriving school both academically and spiritually. [2]
St. Paul has a long and rich athletic tradition dating back to the 1960's in such sports as basketball, baseball and swimming.
The St.Paul Girls Basketball team won the 2009-2010 Class S State Championship. The championship game was played at Mohegan Sun Arena.
St. Paul offers over 20 varsity sports.
